NBC’s brand new series “The Event” will premiere in Fall 2010. This ensemble drama follows Sean Walker, played by Jason Ritter (“The Class”) as he unveils a government coverup that could potentially alter the fate of mankind. While investigating his fiancée’s disappearance, Walker discovers what may be the largest conspiracy in U.S. history. Walker’s determined pursuit will affect the lives of an eclectic cast of characters, including Emmy Award winner Zeljko Ivanek (“Damages”) and Sophia, played by Laura Innes (“ER”), the leader of an odd group of detainees.

“The Event” is a production of Universal Media Studios and Steve Stark Productions. The series will air Monday nights at 9 p.m.
