Zeljko Ivanek
Zeljko Ivanek was born on August 15, 1957 in Slovenia. When he was three years old he emigrated to the U.S. with his parents, returning to Slovenia two years later and eventually coming back to the U.S. in 1967. Ivanek attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and graduated from Yale University in 1978. In 1981, Ivanek won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play for his performance in Caryl Churchill’s “Cloud Nine.” Ivanek has also been nominated for three Tony Awards and received an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Ray Fiske on “Damages.” Ivanek acted in supporting roles in TV shows including “The X Files,” “Oz,” “Heroes” and “24.”
