Jason Ritter, born on February 17, 1980, in Los Angeles, is the son of the late John Ritter. He is the grandson of musician/actor Tex Ritter. Ritter and girlfriend, actress Marianna Palka, co-created Morning Knight, Inc. Ritter attained his BFA in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2002. He also studied at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Ritter played in the TV series “Joan of Arcadia” and spent nine year on “Days of Our Lives” as “Todd.” He’s also appeared in several films, including “Good Dick” (along with Palka), “Swimfan” and “Freddy vs. Jason.” Ritter won the Clarence Derwent Award for his performance in Wendy Wasserstein’s “Third” at Lincoln Center as well as the Martin E. Segal Award for his performance in the off-Broadway play “The Beginning of August.”
